One of the Best Country Pubs in Shropshire
At this former coaching inn you’ll find warm welcome and a well-stocked bar, including real ales, craft beers, local ciders, a huge wine list and British spirits to suit every taste – to be enjoyed either in our beautiful country pub beer garden by the River Severn or within our newly decorated bar area.
If you’re feeling peckish then you’ll be glad to know we serve classic pub grub in our restaurant. What to expect? Hearty food that puts fire in your belly, including a delicious range of hot meals, through to sandwiches and light bites. Then there’s our much loved Sunday roasts (not to be missed). All made from local produce where possible.
If you’re visiting or live in Shrewsbury and fancy a night out, our hotel offers a peaceful night sleep as standard, featuring a modern en-suite bathroom, climate control and a lot of home comforts.
BEER GARDEN
At The Corbet Arms we’re graced by the presence of the River Severn which flows just beyond our huge beer garden. This makes our riverside location perfect for lounging around on a summer’s day or trying to catch some winter rays. There’s plenty of outdoor seating that is dog friendly, which is perfect for planning a country walk to Shrewsbury (we’re about an hour on foot each way). You can enjoy delicious home cooked pub grub and enjoy the fresh air from the surrounding countryside, that’s just one of the reasons The Corbet Arms is considered one of best country pubs to visit in Shropshire.
